The Bride
Sharmishtha Saini
Sharmishtha grew up in Sonipat, Haryana, with her parents and older brother. Her formative years were spent there and with summer holidays spent with grandparents. She moved to Delhi for high school and eventually under-graduation. After finishing a Bachelor’s in textiles and apparel technology, she worked in Delhi for a year, before eventually leaving for Master’s in London. She has been working in Denmark for the last seven years at Bestseller, a Danish fashion company.
The Groom
Gustav Johansen
Gustav was born in Copenhagen and spent his early childhood there, before moving to Australia at the age of six. After high school, he completed his Bachelor’s at the University of Queensland and moved to Denmark for a Master’s degree at Aarhus University. Gustav is currently undergoing officer training in the Royal Danish Air Force.
He has lived in Aarhus for the last seven years and this is also where he met Sharmishtha.
